UPDATED: JCR Advance Online Payments and Refunds

With effect from Monday 19 July, bookmakers must purchase badges in advance using the link below. For information on the refund process, please refer to the bottom of this message.

In order to gain access to the racecourse, you must have either an annual member’s badge or an admission ticket & DBB purchased online in advance. There will be no Badge Box in operation nor tickets available to purchase on the day.

DBB & admission tickets may be purchased up to 10.30 a.m. on the raceday itself. Should a bookmaker be unable to attend, or decide not to attend, prior to pitching in any pre-purchased DBB & tickets for that day will be fully refunded.

Firstly, click on the link below, then onto ‘Bookmakers’. Now click on ‘Bookmakers book now’.

Click on the track for which you want badges.

Click on ‘Need Marketing Fee, DBB + Admissions’ or ‘Got your AMF’ if you have already attended that course this year (AMF up to 31 August 2021 is free), and click ‘Continue’

Select the DBB, enter the number of these required and Continue.

Select Admission Tickets, and enter the number required. Unless you are an annual member you must buy an admission ticket for yourself and other members of staff.  For multiple day race meetings you are able to purchase a DBB for every day. Admission tickets can be purchased later in the transaction as shown below.

Click ‘Continue’ add your betting area , list position number & trading name then click continue through onto the payment section.

You will now be asked to log in to your account. If you do not have a JCR account enter your details. All purchases qualify for Rewards for Racing points which may be redeemed in future purchases.

If you require additional admission tickets select ‘Bookmaker’ in the navigation bar and then select ‘Racecourse DBB & Ticket List’. Select the racecourse and the admission tickets you need. Purchases you make here will be added to your summary. Continue to payment.


The JCR Helpdesk has a bookmaker line 0344 579 3019 in operation between  08.00 – 17.00 Mon – Fri should you need assistance.


Should you buy badges / tickets for a JCR racecourse and decide either not to attend, or to attend but not to use a particular betting position prior to pitching in you will receive a full refund of the applicable charges back to your payment card.

To apply for a refund, you need to email  bookmakers@thejockeyclub.co.uk and provide the following information:

  • Your trading name and the name on the card used for the purchase
  • The order number
  • A brief explanation of the claim e.g. ‘Full refund I did not attend’ or partial refund detailing the unused list position number & serial number of any unused admission tickets.

Upon receipt of your refund claim we will refer to the information provided to the racecourse on the day by the BRM and process accordingly.
