Carlisle racecourse has confirmed that the crowd capacity for the fixture on Monday 17th May 2021 will be 1,500.
As set out within the announcement published elsewhere on our website, Jockey Club Racecourses have decided that on-course bookmaker numbers will be determined by assessing the actual number of spectators that can access betting areas and then applying the 1:150 ratio of bookmakers to members of the public with such access. For this reason the Bookmaker Number will be set at a total of 10, comprised of 2x Rails and 8x Tattersalls bookmakers. The two Rails bookmakers will be pitched into positions 1 and 3 to provide adequate spacing between joints. Similarly, Tattersalls bookmakers who wish to take up pitches on the second row will be allocated pitches situated directly in the gaps between pitches 2&3, 4&5, etc. on the front row.
Details of bookmakers and staff attending (names, mobile telephone numbers and email addresses) will need to be sent to Carlisle racecourse prior to race day for track and trace purposes.
